Family Day - Feb 15 - Ta Dah!!

OK, the bathroom was mostly done Saturday night. We put up mirrors (needed mastic) and trimmed a door so it would hang on the hinges on Sunday. Removed masking tape today and here we are. A long journey from January 27th, but done.

Well, almost done. There are two new doors that have to be hung. Hinges set in place, holes drilled for the handles, install handles, paint doors ...

So, a walk around - from the bedroom door side first.

Bathtub with taps, shower head, soap dish and shower curtain rod. Shower curtains will go up once we are convinced this is the spot for the rod. Easily moved, not yet permanent.

Looking back from the tub toward the bedroom door.

Pivot and look toward the hall door. Cute double towel rack, Mom's sink and cabinet. Thermostat for floor heating - to be tested in about 2 weeks once the cement is fully cured.

Move to the hall door and look back across Mom's sink to the SF toilet and the new medicine cabinet. All toilets and cabinets are white, so you can judge how much extra yelloe-bronw cast we are getting in these shots. But the feel of the colour is about right.

Best shot of SFT. There is no shot of the lights over the mirrors. Probably a good thing as Penny thinks they are upside down. We shall see. They may have to be taken down and turned over.
