End day 9 - Thursday, Feb. 4

So, we are finally starting to see some real progress. This is when things get exciting.

This little block is the center of a tile around the bathtub. There are 4 of these.

This is the horizontal detail on the tub tiling.

And this is the broad picture of the bathtub enclave.

Still no faucet or shower head, but the water works and get VERY hot.

We are short a few tiles for the tub-surround and the floor. Fixing that problem today.

Other areas do not show much change, but progress is being made. OK, maybe not here, but ...

The floor here has been re-fastened (don't want squeaks under the heated tiles), and a second layer of sub-floor has been added to increase the stability.

Of course, that will cause a slight height difference between the hall / bedroom and the bathroom. I suggested putting in little half-inch escalators, but Penny thought that was excessive.

Still no toilet or sinks.
