OK, we are beginning to sense an end. But we are still quite away off.The tub surround is done (except for the grout), but the tub skirt remains to be tiled. See a couple of shots down.
The wiring for the heated floor is almost complete, but the thermostat has to be hooked up. And we have to test the system!!! We cannot turn on the heat for at least a week.The Ground Fault Interrupt (GFI) sockets, now required for bathrooms, also need to be installed to replace the current sockets. Small task.
Then the floor and the tub skirt have to be grouted.
The tub skirt will look great when done. It is a special mosaic of stone pieces.

Is your guy charging you extra to document this process? I love all the photos and descriptions, but I also keep thinking about this sign I once saw in a mechanic's shop: "LABOUR RATES - $50/hour; $75/hour if you watch; $100/hour if you help."
